Is this the right forum?

I don't know.

Anyways, my friend sent me this link, http://www.concealedcomfort.com/video.shtml. It is an in-the-pants holster for any kind of gun. It looks interesting. The two videos on the site describe how it works, you have to scroll down to see the videos. It conceals a large gun beautifully, but it looks like a very complicated drawing method.

Any thoughts?

:p

I tried one back when they were PagerPals. It made me look like I had an incredible "package." Sitting could be difficult or uncomfortable because of the placement of the holster. Drawing required two hands for quickest extraction and was extremely cumbersome for one handed extraction. They describe it as deep cover. Well the deeper the cover the more difficult the extraction or draw.

I noticed that the fat man in the video wore dark colors. That was by design. Dark colors hide shadows produced by printing.

I also noticed he claimed it was easy to sit down with the holster and his demo'd full size 1911. I also noticed he didn't actually ever sit down. How convenient.

Don't waste your money.

Ha.

I would think that a revolver would printed even worse, right.

Also, I normally carry a model 36 Smith, and if the holster fit a 1911 won't the revolver get lost in this holster?

If you are in a situation in which you need to draw your weapon; I imagine that it would be hard to do, especially with the loss of fine motor control that accompanies these situations.

You can't draw as demonstrated without lasering your weak side arm/hand.

That true, under stress you'd probably shoot yourself.
