I have come across one, seems in nice shape, I cleaned it up won't fire, ( doesn't strike the case, despite a loud click. Won't eject, although the extractor holds the round straight. Are parts hard to find, and how hard are they to work on? Not familiar with this model. Thanks Ron

The little Pedersen-designed pump is a fine rifle, and it sounds like perhaps someone disassembled it and didn't get it back together right. I can't seem to google up an exploded view of the model 12/121, but if you call/write remington, they should be able to provide you with one. For parts, Numrich (e-gunparts.com, 1-866-Numrich) is your best bet. Good luck!

Sounds like the firing pin is broken. PM me your email address and I'll send you a PDF of the take down and assembly instructions.

Best place to get a firing pin is Brownells from what I've found. Numrich also carries them but they aren't as good of quality. The ones Numrich as are to soft in my experience. The link to Brownells is here (http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/sid=16317/sku/212__Rem__12_121__round_style). Its the third from the left in the picture.

The firing pin will take some fitting. You'll need a dial caliper and a file. It's easy to do, I don't have the length it needs to be. But if that is what it turns out to be I can look it up.

Is there any way I could get a copy of the assembly info as well?? I inherited one that came with a bag of parts, and I'm not completely sure that everything is there. I was able to locate an exploded diagram, but it's not very clear where everthing goes???
The link to the Exploded diagram is at:

Thanks in advance!!

Can you tell me what the firing pin length needs to be for the remington 121? I replaced the firing pin, but the new one appears to be too long, it ejects unspent shells fine, but when I fire, which it does now, it seems the pin hits to deep and smashes the casing to the point it does not want to eject well. I think I need to shorten the firing pin a little but wanted to double check.

Thanks.
