My wife has a Springfield, Caspian slided 1911 style .45 (given to her by her dad) and for whatever reason it doesn't feed WWB or Remington ammo (only ones tried so far) but my reloads function FLAWLESSLY through it. Could you long timers help me out with figuring out what my next plan of action should be before having to find a good gunsmith to fix the possible problem.

You didn't say but does it load and shoot the first round and then jamb against the ejected case or just not feed into the chamber fully--or what??
It may be sprung for heavier loads.
Check the ammo: Are your reloads the same 230gr FMJrn as the WWB? What about your powder load, hot round, or range load?
Have you tried removing the bbl and 'dropping' in the WWB to see if they chamber properly?
Need more info.

Thanks 1SOW.....It loads the first round of the factory loads but doesnt fire it. My reloads are LRN that work but my Hornady XTP's don't. Both are loaded within .002-.003 OAL of each other. The total weight of the 230 gr LRN round 324.6 and the 230 gr XTP's are 325.6. The LRN are loaded at 4.8-4.9 grain of Universal and the XTP's are 5.2 grain of Universal.
The factory rounds OAL are 1.260 for WWB and Remington are 1.267. My reloads are 1.221-1.230 of the LRN and the XTP's around 1.240
I haven't removed the barrel to see if the WWB will chamber properly. That will be my next move to try sometime this week. THANKS!
