For me, between .308, .223, 40 S&W and 357 mag/38 spl, my favorite is by far the .223.:D Its cheap to load, cheap to shoot and I can have immense fun with it, my Mini-14 is an absolute hoot!:)

357 magnum is my favorite. :what: I love that round. I can load it light & wimpy(3gr bullseye 148WC), nice middle of the road(5.0gr bullseye 158 SWC), or WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT(14.5gr 2400 158 SWC). It is extremely versatile.

For me, 40S&W and 45ACP. Cases size easier than 9mm and larger cases to make handling easier.

.204 Ruger. Chasing a 1/4 inch group has been a lot of fun for me over the last few years - last week I made three groups under .400 (5 shots @ 100yds), one of them at .306. Closing in, maybe

10mm. Makes me smile every time I hear a loaded round drop into the box. :)

Any of the straight wall rounds, carbide dies make it so easy.

I agree. I can really crank out 9mm ammo, and it shoots great. Very satisfying. I also love reloading for my .243. I love that rifle, and I love loading up a couple boxes of pet loads after all the pressure of finding the right one is over and I can sit back and wait for deer season...I guess I sorta like it all!

.357, no question about it. Although I don't mind the pressure-free ease of slinging out hundreds of 9mm or 45acp. I also thoroughly enjoy loading .44mag.

Right now, it's the .30-06, but I suspect that's about to change. My .45 Colt dies, and bullets came in the other day. I've got a pound of H110, and a 9 oz can of Trail Boss. The brass should be here Wednsday. I can't wait. I've got a sneaky feeling, it's going to be the favorite.

I hope you have patience with that H110, it will test your nerves. I've made the switch almost completely to 2400 and couldn't be happier. H110 is a fine powder if you load absolute max charges and don't shoot in the cold...or hot...or in awkward positions...

38 special and 45 Colt. But I like loading ALL of them whether for handgun, rifle or shotgun.

Of all the ones that I reload straight walled cartridges are the most fun and of those the 45 Colt is the most satisfying.:D Followed closely by the 44 MAG.

For me it's the 30-30. You can shoot it light with cast for lots of practiice. Or heavy for hunting deer or hogs with either cast or jackets. And it's a piece of cake to load.

500 S&W Magnum; straight walled case and easy to assemble.

When you load one you feel you've created something awesome.;)

45ACP is my favorite to load, but 308 Win, is my favorite to shoot;)

Eveything else is just to small, and harder to handle:D

.45acp is the easiest but I like my 22-250 and I am also chasing that magic clover leaf group. I had a perfect three shot group going until I pulled the trigger for the second time. He He

I only load two but .223 comes in ahead of.40 S&W just because I don't care for the extra step of expanding the .40 case mouth...just something about it that nags at me. That said, I get a lot of enjoyment out of finishing 100 of either and putting them in the box.

38 special, followed closely by 44 magnum. 357 mag is great to load also... like 9mm. Hmm. I see a pattern. Yep, like already stated by others, straight walled pistol is where it is at.

I reload for 9mm, .45 ACP, .44 mag, .22-250, 6.5x55, 7mm-08, 7mm Rem Mag, .30-06 and .35 Whelan. That covers a lot of ground, and I find great satisfaction in finding what works best in all of them. The only one I've gone away from is the 9, its so darned small I get frustrated with the little buggers. I also find I don't get the economy that reloading gives me with the other rounds.

My favorite flavor of the month right now is 375 Win. I cast boolits for it, put a little RE7 underneath and it is really fun to shoot.

7mm BR. It shoots well with almost any suitable powder, and with jacketed or cast bullets.

357 Magnum. It does it all from light target loads with HBWC's to full power loads with 158 grain and heavier bullets.

.38/.357 with cast 158 gr. LSWCs and Trail Boss. Out of the three calibers I load for, these are my favorites.

I personally don't care for 9mm. The short casings are kind of a pain to work with...reloading has me wanting a .45 LC just because it looks fun to load.

10mm.

It just is easy to handle. I can load it easily.
