[Weedy]

Haven't used it yet , but I started out buying a Leek, returned it because of the straight and fragile-seeming blade, and got this on Ebay. It feels great in the hand and its SHARP! I will say, not as sharp as the Leek, but the Leek was literally like a razor blade, and the Shallot has a way more robust blade. The assisted opening rocks. Envelopes and box tape, beware...:evil:

Just before Christmas, Kershaw had their factory warehouse sale nearby. I got $180 worth of knives for $45! 75% off of retail costs. I bought a shallot, two leeks (serrated for myself and non- for my brother, and another not in the Onion family. I've loved mine thus far.
