Alright guys old thread got closed for obvious reasons. First off I want to say sorry if I made any quips back at you guys that may have offended ANY of you. I value all of your opinions and information. Lets be civil and discuss this shotgun stock and have some fun!

Here is the stock in question

I already ordered the last one clyde had in stock.
It is for use as a general purpose small packing shotgun that can be deployed to a full stock while it does not do either best but I'm hoping it will handle in either configuration well enough to handle most situations. Any of you with experience with it please feel free to chime in! One thing I'm wondering about with the Sage stock is if you can add a adapter for a ar15 side folder? I saw a Sage ebr with the AR stock attached but it folded since it doesn't have a need for a functional buffer system.

Looks interesting... Although I am bummed that it most likely wont fit the one I have coming in to my FFL:mad:

They only make em for the 870 platform. I guess they made it for the SEALS for a 870 MCS system.

Definitely looks interesting, but as was mentioned in the previous thread I can't see it being any use to sighting - doesn't look like that'd give any sort of useable cheekweld.

Then again, it doesn't seem as though any of us (thus far) have had experience with this stock system and reviews on new equipment are always welcomed - we may all end up being pleasantly surprised. Who knows?

Best of luck and keep us updated!

Tactical Ninja that is the problem I am thinking about now even though I already made the jump. It seems like it would give a similar cheek weld as the low tube mesa tactical adapters where the rail sits lower than the rear tang. I am just running a bead front sight not ghost rings or anything. I will definitely keep you guys informed on this. Someones gotta make the jump and see if it's a POS or not right ;) .

the reality is there just really isnt a quality, good looking, cost effective folder on the market. there just isnt, at least by my standards. and i think my standards are pretty fair. each one falls short in one category or another.

how much did you pay? i heard they were pricey...i also heard its good quality, but i find it ugly and not worth the money. i have a pretty good feeling itll be of fairly high quality though, at least.

if i had to use one of the current folders itd be the butler creek, but even then, no thanks...

Well, if that's you, then keep an eye on this thread

as I am going to be posting pics of what the gun looks like as to how it mates to the butt stock. If it appears possible to make it work, then I'm in:cool:

AcceptableUserName I am on the same page as you. I really want a side folder but I can't find ANY that look decent and are of good quality. The sage as I hear from ar15 forum is of top notch quality. It is not THE best looking but it collapses much further than a mesa tactical. It ran me 139 wich seems fair to me for a high quality product such as sage. I read that you are not supposed to run this stock in the fully extended position rather than the first few positions so you can actually get a cheekweld in the fully extended position you will give your self the gift of a dentist trip.

I'm also looking for a pair of ghost ring sights I can add on my remington 870 any suggestions guys? Also how much do these usually cost to get installed by a gunsmith? I have been lagging on it since my shotgun is my main HD weapon and the gunsmiths here all have crappy turn around times and take forever!
