There is no metal framed version, the other hi-caps in the game tha I am aware of are.

Glock 21--13rds
HK usp--12rds
S&W M&P--10rds
hi cap 1911--12-14ish

I like mine, get a hand on it before you buy... they are big guns.

Definitely try one on for size, I think the M&P .45 is the most user friendly for medium to small size hands.

The only other DA/SA double-stack .45 I can think of is the H&K USP. (The M&P, Glock and "hi-cap" 1911s are not DA/SA.)

No gun designer sits down to create a "high cap" anything - they aim for the best capacity for the gun's intended purpose.
