These are only the firearms that have recently struck my interest. I have not fired the XD-9 Sub C or the p-3at.
Any write ins are fine too. :)

How about a Glock compact 10mm, I think that would be a G29, maybe.

Odd that there is no XD-9 compact size (not sub-compact). That's a handy lil blaster to have. I think the .40 mags fit in the XD-9 and hold like 15 rounds of 9mm with no modification at all. Man, put that all together and it's set phasers to fun time.

I say stick w/ the 1911 you've already got. Go put some rounds through it & remember why you bought it in the first place! ;)

glock 27 + federal hydrashock 135gr=fast fury of flying 40's. recoil is rather 9mm like.
though would look at steyr s40 for $340 or kel-tec p40 or p11 with conversion kit.

Yeah, I like 'em small if I'm going to be limited to 10rds anyways. I'm a small guy so CCWing it isn't going to be an easy task.
The only reason I don't have xd40 sub c is that it's not out yet...
...and I didn't buy the 1911. I traded my electronic/NO2 paintballgun to my brother (his wife didn't want it in the house anymore). I definately like the .45 caliber though... throughout the day I change my mind as to which one I would prefer over the others.
What is that conversion kit?
Thanks

I chose the Glock 30, but even tho its listed as a subcompact, its only a tiny bit smaller than the normal compact versions of other calibers (glock 19 ish)

According to Glock the 30 a subcompact. It and the 10mm are the same size. Everything smaller than that is the two finger grip 'baby glock' -- .40 being the largest caliber. It's not as small as the 27, but is still pretty small for a 10rd .45

cidirkona,
I don't think you are limited to 10 rounds with the XD-9 compact. I believe you can load an XD-40 mag with 15 rounds of 9mm and use it reliably. Also, there are other advantages of larger guns other than concealment. You also get a heavier gun (less recoil) and a longer sight radius (easier to aim).

You don't say how you plan to carry the gun, nor how concealed it needs to be. There is a world of difference in the size of the Glock 30 and the Keltec 380. These guns can't serve the same function, as they are too different in size.
Assuming you are not a nudist, you can always hide the Keltec.
The Glock 30, and most of the others, are not pocket guns and will require considerably more effort to keep concealed.

I would prefer to get both the keltec and one of the larger ones actually. It's somewhat hard to conceal in summer clothing when it's 110 degrees outside.
Oh, BTW, I AM a nudist and I can still hide the Keltec P-3AT. Wait... that sounds kinda wrong...

I am sure there are places a fat nudist could conceal the P3AT

The Glock 26 is the way to go. It is concealable, has good capacity, and is easy to shoot...Illini

I would go with Glock 32,33, or 26. In the XD series, service model is too large in my opinion, but sub compact may be just the ticket.

Consider the Glock 26 or 36 or even the G19.
