And while we're at it:

OC = Open Carry
CCW = Concealed Carry Weapon but can also be used as CCW'ing which = concealed carrying
CHP = Concealed Handgun Permit
IWB = Inside the WaistBand

Any others?

HD= Home Defense
SD=Self Defense
FTF=Failure to Fire
FTE=Failure to eject
KB=Kaboom
LEO= LAw Enforcement Officer
LGS= Local Gun Store

the firing line (TFL) has a list of common gun forum abbreviations and acronyms available HERE (http://thefiringline.com/library/acro/acron.html). enjoy. i know it helped me a lot when i first got started on gun forums.
