What is the better SKS gun, a Albanian or a Yugoslavian? Or both just as good? Thanks

Yugo's seemed to be machined a little bit better. Albanian's are supposedly much rarer. Either one of the varieties in my safe go bang whenever asked to without any questions.

(Yugo's with the butt pad fit the larger sized Americans a little better than the Albainians (or most any other SKS))

I've heard that alot of the Albainian SKS's are pretty rough, and everyone I've seen tends to confirm that. But the Albainians just seem to have more cool factor to me.

Yugos are better made and more reliable, by all accounts (I can certainly testify that my particular example is very well put together, and has shot <>1000 rds of cheapie ammo with no malfs)
the Albanians are less common, but not as good in general.
That said, I'm sure they still work fine. Kinda hard to screw up production of Eastern ComBloc guns.

My Albanian is terrible for an SKS. Poor machining and inaccurate. It's an interesting collectors piece, but not a shooter.
My 3 Yugo 59/66s are very consistant and nicely made.
