ive noticed the Mossbergs like pretty much everything, but especially Federal.
I'd try to test Federal premium, federal tactical, winchester military grade and remington and pick out of those. just something ive picked up out of some pretty extensive 870 use.
the TAP may be good as well.
as for slugs, id pick out of federal truball, federal hydrashok and the winchester hollow points.

In the trunk! You should have let her ride up front so you could get to know her better, scared you'd wreck looking over at her huh!

You'll poke your eye out kid!
It's essentially a big bb gun. ;) Just shoot more of them, at a highter velocity, a bunch at a time! :what:
I have a similar model (The 5 shot). Love it!

Do you read the replies to your posts? I asked what stock pack you have on your new gun (post #14) and all you can do is to reply to post #15. So what gives??

Great gun.
Just make sure you grease up {not oil} the parkerized finish good or it may rust on you in that climate.
I basically slather my parkerized guns in grease and leave them in the hot sun for a spell so it really gets into the pores, before wiping it all down. Do that and the finish will be vastly more rust resistant and quite a bit more scratch resistant.

WD-40 is crap both as a lube and as a rust protectant, it'll dry up in no time, as will most oils, and allow your porous parkerized finish to suck in moisture and skin acids like a sponge.
Parkerizing is basically meant to act as a grease holder, and is pretty subpar without it, so give it all it can take.
