This is an incredible opportunity to own one of twenty only ever produced gold inlaid Glock pistols. These guns were recently imported from Glock in Austria and all bear the Austria proof marks. All will come in their original Glock box, appropriate number of mags and cleaning kit. Each gun was hand engraved by Glocks only master engraver and Gold inlaid. ***CONSEQUTIVE SERIAL NUMBERS ARE AVAILABLE*******

Before people start accusing me of Glock bashing I would think this is ridiculous if it was an XD or M&P as well.

Wow. Question is how many people here would be willing to pay that for that pistol? If I had that much to spend on a gun, it certainly would not be that one.

Easy to see why they're one of only twenty.

Glock HAS a master engraver?

I've pretty much given up on Gunbroker. The last time I was there I was looking for a timer. I found the particular model I wanted and the buy now was $199. Sells for $129 direct from the manufacturer.

I buy my stuff thru websites only.

Crack I believe is the answer you are looking for, they have to be smoking crack. $8,000????

I really doubt Glock has anyone employed as an engraver.

nice art but definitely doesn't fit the utility character of the pistol.

Gunbroker has definitely turned into a bazaar of ridiculousness. Some guy ont there was (and still is) trying to sell a Korth for four figures. SUPER RARE.

I like the one for $15,000 even better.

The close-ups of the engraving don't even look that good.

Actually, someone should ask for a serial number and call glock. If there's "only one master engraver" and 20 of these, they will certainly know all about them, right?

Be interesting to find out if they are actually real, because honestly, they don't make a lot of sense to me.

Engraved Glock, gold inlay.. Isn't the Glock crowd the wrong target market for that? Glocks are usually sold to a crowd that shoots the hell out of them.. Kinda like a Leather-upolstered 4 door pickup truck.. errr.. never mind.

:barf:

The only esthetic appeal Glocks have is their 100% functional, all-business look. That thing is beyond hideous.

I've read that the Korth is made one a one at a time basis. http://www.korthusa.com/pistol_en.htm

What do you do with a gun that costs $10,000? Put it in a safe and hope it will appreciate in value.

So out of curiosity, what do you guys think they actually sold the others for? $8000 doesn't seem to be generating much interest.

And what do you think they paid for them?

GunBroker is where the tin foil hat buying public buys their firearms.

it's simply overpriced, like most everything else on gun broker. 8 grand for a little gold inlay on the slide, & other than that everything is standard glock? please.

there's been "only 20 ever produced" every couple years.

he'd be lucky to get 1/8 of his buy now price....

I've gotten quite a number of deals on Gunbroker, fellas.

Just because some folks try, I say again try, to sell something for an outlandish price doesn't mean the whole place has gone to hell.

I've seen the same at gun shows, gun dealers, etc, etc, etc.

Just move on to the next listing.

Or don't. With less of you all on there it means better chances for me.

The engraving itself is beautiful, if it is in fact actually engraved, but it looks totally ridiculous on a Glock. It's like having Michelangelo paint a mural on a manhole cover.

I wonder how much they spent in tooling to get thru that hard slide.

I guess GLOCK is smart in that they don't have to get 20 people interested in 1 silly gun each, they need only to sell 20 silly guns to one guy.

In all honesty, I would actually carry one but not for eight grand. Not even close.

With regard to Gunbroker, there are some seriously out-of-touch-greedy-idiot-merchants using it.

A gold in-crusted Glock is like a navy seal wearing a tu-tu.

Wonder why it has had 0 bids in 5 days?
