Makes you wonder what they paid their translator (or even if they had one)?

It's supposed to be "Vindicator", but whoever translated it for them was suffering the phail that day.

My FLGS usually has one in stock & they sell regularly. Solid if fugly revolver. I could see owning one as the proverbial truck gun. I'd stick to the steel model & .38 special. It's no S&W but it's not a cap gun either. It's the Hi-Point of revolvers.

W vs V is a really funny thing in English/German translation. W gets a V sound so it would be pronounced Vindicator by a German speaker so I'd bet that's how it got through that way.

Durable, reliable, rough around the edges... I have put many rounds through a 2" snubbie windicator. I bought it as a carry gun for hikes into the National Forest. We have lots of big kitty cats here...

I would save my $$$ and buy a used Smith and Wesson for a little more if I were to buy another 2" .357

As I understand it, when the revolver was introduced, they ran up against a trademarked "Vindicator", so they changed the spelling (Germans pronounce "w" as "v").

The single worst double action I have ever felt. Seems like its durable, as in it wont blow up.

Mine was kinda rough when I got it, but I've shot a hundred rounds or so through it, and it's smoothed up a lot.
It's kinda heavy, the hammer and trigger will peel hide off your fingers, but for the price, it's a fun gun.
It's also heavy enough to soak up a lot of recoil, so if you have someone nervous about shooting, it's a good beginner gun.
Good luck finding a holster that'll fit it though.;)
