On Brownings website, they say that this is a new model? Sort of reminds me of the Camper model. How is it different than the camper? Any insight?

IIRC, the URX models use a different frame for those "ergonomic" grips. Last I checked, you could not get anything else to replace those grips. Buckmarks are wonderful .22s and if you like the grip and don't ever want to change it, then go for it. However, if you would like to be able to try out different grips, then the Camper frame is the one you want.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the info. Didn't know they used a different frame. Thought it was just a style of grips...........

The URX frame is slightly smaller (front to back) than the standard frame.
Hogue makes grips for the URX model: http://www.hoguestore.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=29_555_557
Tactical Solutions used to, but I believe they have stopped doing so.
Buck Mark Rifle grips will fit the URX frame. Challenge (not Challenger) grips may do so as well.

The UDX frame (finger grooved) is the one that, as far as I know, no one makes aftermarket grips for.

The Camper models reportedly have a plastic rear sight base and front sight (non HiViz).

Greg

So, the URX, UDX and camper frames are all different?

So, the URX, UDX and camper frames are all different?
The Standard frame, URX (also Challenge (http://www.glocktalk.com/forums/showpost.php?p=13693125&postcount=19)) frame, and UDX frame are all different.
The URX/Challenge frame is shorter, front to back, than the Standard frame. The URX comes with molded finger groove grips.
The UDX is of similar size to the URX/Challenge, but has finger grooves in the frame and matching laminate wood grips.

The Camper can be had with either a Standard (http://www.browning.com/products/catalog/firearms/detail.asp?value=006B&cat_id=051&type_id=379) frame or URX (http://www.browning.com/products/catalog/firearms/detail.asp?value=006B&cat_id=051&type_id=442) frame.
