I just arived home with a stevens 311A 16 gauge 28" barrels full and mod I think, could use a good cleanup but rock solid. I had 4 # 6 shot shells fired each barrel at an eight oz pop can at 35 steps right barrel put 14 pellets in the can with the right barrel 9 in the can with the left barrel :D

I reblued and replaced some parts on a Sears version of the 16 ga. 311.
It was a nice gun and felt good to the shoulder.

I don't think you'll have any problems taking a turkey with that shotgun.:)
