So I say to myself: "Self, you NEED a Python! :)

So I am shopping now for a 4" Python for a shooter -- some holster wear is fine, and I don't care whether it is blue, stainless or nickle. I want a quality piece though, not a beater.

So what is a fair price range? I have done a little research too, and am probably looking for a '60's or '70's gun also.

Thanks in advance!

Go to www.gunsamerica.com, or www.gunbroker.com, and look at the prices there -- they'll give you a good feel for what the current going rate is.

Something like this one (http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?threadid=49916)? It might still be available... why not ask?

I saw one last weekend at Lolo Sporting Goods, Lewiston, ID, for I believe $400. I have no further details; give them a call.
