If you like (any meat)jerkie or a sign that says "Beware of -insert breed of dog here- ", then this is the show for you...there are a few good tables, but mostly a lot of things that other people have wished less of..

26point2...

I know what you're talking about....but, the last Silverado show wasn't too bad as far as the jerky salesmen go......we'll see what this weekend brings!

I picked up some jerky...yes I complained about it, but I still enjoy it...the show wasn't too bad...I got there pretty early on Sat. So it wasn't too crowded. I saw a lot of odds and ends that I wanted/needed, but the prices were just too high...internet wins this battle.. Mostly I talked w/some dealers about some of the full auto stuff they had...pretty interesting...one guy showed me a receipt of the first full auto weapon he bought back in 86...can't remember what it was, but he said he made quite a few dollars selling it just recently...one dealer complained that collectors are buying up all the full auto stuff, driving the price up and leaving nothing for the real gun people..

I'll have to try some of the N. Virginia shows...

I also thought that it was a pretty good show. I was one of the first 20 or so people in the door so I had plenty of elbow room to look at stuff.

•Fawned over a Mark 23 SOCOM
•Almost bought a $60 Marlin model 60....passed on it in the end
•Bought a half case of ammo for the SKS
•Took out a couple of raffle tickets on the M14/AR15/M1 Carbine drawing

Anyone catch the Civil War era lever action gun for $38,000? Don't know what model.....but that price tag sure woke me up really quick!:what:
