That's truly amazing; two fantastic finds like that, both with the boxes and paperwork, both looking like they're in mint condition! The S&W Model 13 looks to be unfired, while the Colt OMT looks incredibly well preserved. Congratulations on your aquisitions. What are going to pick up next to complete your hat trick?

You are going to love that Model 13.... I have the Model 65 stainless from the same era, same box and papers. It remains a favorite. In fact, the best money I ever spent. Enjoy.

Wow I also have a 13-1 but wow man its no where as beautifull as that. Excuse my envy. That makes me want to have mine reblued and wooden grips added. Mine is an old work horse that has been carried stored and I recently converted it to a round butt. I dont know that I could put yours in a holster.

That model 13 sure is purty!
Don't know whats up with S&W. That should have been the first gun in their Classic line. In my humble opinion it's the best gun they ever made.
I'm getting greener by the second.

Well here is what your gun would look like if it had not been preserved so well.

camsdaddy,

Wow, what happened to that revolver? I consider myself lucky finding the one I got.

I would say life. I found it in a pawn shop about 2 years ago. At that time it came with a square butt and leather holster included. I assume it lived most of its life in the leather holster it has a fair amount of wear. I decided since it would never be a safe queen or trophy piece I should make it a shooter. I have since rounded the butt and added grips. It now fits my hand perfectly and is as smooth as butter. So I guess my question is do you plan to shoot yours. I figure not. Its sorta sad in a way but it is so well preserved I dont know what I would do.
