Hi guys,

What is a fair price for this M500? I don't live in an area where you get cheap guns, so what's a conservative price for this one?

It's a Ducks Unlimited gun with an 18.5" cylinder bore with rifle sights. 25 rounds through it the owner says. The wood looks nicer than other M500's as well. He says very good to excellent condition.

Here's some pictures:

I hve not seen a DU gun that had such a short barrel with rifle sights.....are you sure the barrel is original to the gun? Being used, the price will drop a good percentage from new

As a used shooter it is certainly worth $200.

For its looks it's worth whatever it's worth to you.

I do not think "conservatives" get better prices than "liberals".

I paid 185 for a mossberg 500 with 2 barrels, good wood, similar round count. I can't speak for your location, but I can say 200-225 would be the most I would go in my local.

Interesting barrel, as mentioned, for a duck gun which it ain't anymore. It's a 500 action with a deer barrel. Might even be rifled -- check? It is nicer for HD than the original and a coupla hundred and maybe a cup'a coffee more should do it as nice and little used as it is...

Definately not the original barrel. DU would never have a short barrel on one of their guns.

The DU logo will diminish the price of the gun. In my area, a DU, NWTF, or other club logo'd gun will not bring as much as a plain gun of the same model. It does not add to the value of the gun.

Dak isn't in the US, though. Canada, wasn't it? $200 is a good minimum. It's not worked over in any way so I'd have no probs going $200-250. I'd price it the same as a new minus a few bucks for principles.
