Another Penn Bullets -1 review

This is kinda long and drawn out but here we go:

I ordered (not exactly sure now...) around 1000 cast bullets, two different kinds if I'm not mistaken on 7/31/08.

According to my email history he finally got the order to me sometime after 10/22/08 but did not ship it in its entirety, I guess he had 250 bullets of a different kind that he needed to ship to me but it had been well over 3 months of me pestering him for any part of my order.

Well, on February 1, 2010 I got an email to my account, which I don't regularly check asking me if I wanted the rest of the order. I of course didn't respond since I don't check that account very often. Well he sent my order anyway without confirmation around 12 days later.

Now, I'm poor and I just got my most recent credit card statement saying that i had been charged for an order that is over 1 year and 7 months old. Needless to say I'm not happy with that.

So I email him basically asking if he had shipped the order to my old address, which I do not reside anymore: he had. (edit): I'm currently trying to resolve this with him.

My major concern is, my billing address changed and this didn't cause a red flag on my transaction... but I'm just a college student, never done any sort of transactions from a business side.

I hope my experience and the ones below can prevent something like this from happening. And before you guys jump on the bandwagon about Stonewall bullets... yeah I know of him and he's fantastic!

There is no e-mail battle. The issue WILL be resolved favorably to the customer.
There were some mitigating issues with this particular order that was still considered active due to a partial back order. It will be credited back to the customer. I just got the customers e-mail yesterday and he requested detailed information which I provided. He did not ask for a final resolution in the original e- mail. The matter was still in process to be resolved.

OP, is this true? While I think 19 months is excessive for a backorder, if you did not ask for an immediate resolution, just details its wrong to come here and refer to an e-mail battle. Everyone deserves a fair shake.

These forums are a great tool for a reloader, as manufacturers such as Penn Bullets and Missouri Bullets owners themselves are members. You can come here and get a problem resolved quickly. Sometimes though, its easy to come here before the company gets a chance to solve the problem, as what seems to have happened here. I dont think its a problem, or needs an apology, as I am sure that Mr Palermo will take care of the situation for you. It seems they are back up in production and getting things squared away again.

Many issues like this are solved better and faster with phone calls. It's easier to solve any misunderstandings on the phone.

Credit was issued today and USPS has started a trace to recover the package. Many times a quick phone call can avoid unpleasantries for all involved.

Came here to say that my credit card had been issued a credit but I see Robert got here first.

Thanks for resolving the issue.

I have had great service from Robert. He even phoned me to confirm my need as to final diameter. He makes .44 wadcutters, something I haven't been able to find anywhere else.

Looks like it was resolved properly. A +1 to Penn Bullets. Reputations are built one customer at a time.
