I have a couple of misfeed of my trusted Corbon 115gr JHP on my friend's Glock, I'm yet to try it on my glock, but that one incident got me concerned. Glock's supposed to feed anything ya know?! ;). Anyways, what's the most reliable feeding 9mm JHP ammo can you recommend. Thanks in advance!

no way to tell. Ask a hundred people and they won't have problems feeding corbon hollowpoints in their glocks. If you're really concerned about feeding, i suggest using Corbon Powerball or Federal EFMJ

Remington's "standard" stuff (i.e. not Golden Saber) 115grn 9mm HP's were designed to feed in guns designed for ball. The ogive matches that of a standard FMJ. Sometimes you can find it in a +P version.

Corbon's do have a rather abrupt shoulder, but still, a Glock should feed anything. Hyrda-Shoks and Gold Dots (my favorite) have a much easier feed profile.

I use the Cor-Bon 115gr. JHP in my Glock 19's, and have also used it in a RAP 401 and a Springfield XD sub-compact. Fed just fine in all of them - no problems. Has your friend checked his magazine springs and/or followers lately? The follower has been updated, and his springs might be a bit weak. Either problem can cause difficulties with feeding.

(It amazes me how folks will religiously replace their recoil springs, but never think of replacing their magazine springs with anything like the same regularity! For me, with magazines I keep loaded, I replace the springs every year, no matter what. Maybe that's one reason I don't have many feeding problems in any gun... :D )

I think, in general, you are better off to select a bullet with a rounded nose profile. Some guns simply do not feed well with the straight-sided truncated cone profile bullets. Cycle reliability is far more important than a few statistical percentage points in so-called "one-shot stops" or a slightly bigger cavity blown in a block of ballistic gelatin.

I fired 10 rds. on my gun this morning and it all fed right, no hang-ups. I think what happened was a fluke! I got my confidence back, But I would still look for other substitute. Thanks to all! :)

I think preacherman is on to something about mag springs.

Personally, I've never shot corbon but my stock answer for what 9mm to carry is std pressure 124gr. speer gold dots. If you have to for whatever reason then move up to the +p of the same.

And for ball ammo, I really really like S&B 115s. I'm gonna order some of their hp someday to see how it does. You sure never see it in any gelatin tests. It would sure be a shame if a person could get excellent hp for $8 a box.

I have never shot any of this ammo out a glock but it works well in my other guns that don't have the same reputation that glocks have. ahem :)

when i would shoot the first 9 corbon's it's ok it's always the last round that won't load. at first i thought it was the feed ramp so i checked it out and there was no tooling marks and it's pretty smooth. then i looked at my mag followers. i have the crappy 2183 followers, lot's of people complained about them having issues with hollow points, but ball is ok. i'm going to give glock a call if i can get the 9mm3 followers.

Hi Chris!!!
The follower I have is the same as yours, I think my initial hunch is true, Its bullet set back. Those rounds were cycled in my gun so much already. The ones I used the next day are all new. I'm looking at Triton right now its a bit longer than Corbon's so set back might not be too much of a factor.

Winchester 115 gr Silvertips, feeds like ball ammo, highest velocity non +p out there.
