Apparently it doesn't work well with more than one in the tube, but fortunately I only bought a box of 25, and it works fine with one in the tube and one in the chamber.
Just one of those small thing no one ever told me about.

It should work just fine with however many the magazine will hold. What's it doing wrong?

I put two in the tube... and I pull the pump handle back, and... It tries to feed two.

It shouldn't. You've got a problem with your gun. What brand/model is it? Did you buy it new?

What brand and model shotgun are we talking about here?? Never heard of that happening before something is up with your gun.

Not the ammo, it's the gun

It's an Armscor M30R, and apparently there is a problem. There's two ears that work on feeding this thing, and apparently one of them was missing a spring. I have a temporary substitute spring in there until I can figure out where to get a replacement, and from what.

Where in heck did you find an Armscor gun??? Are they being sold in the US now?

Sorry to say it but I suspect that part will be *hard* to find. Might end up having to improvise.

Gunparts lists cartridge stop pins and springs for Squires Bingham M30's(same thing). $2.05 each for the spring.
A .pdf manual can be had here. http://www.armscor.com.ph/downloads.htm

This one says:
IMPTD. BY A.P.I.
HAYWARD, CA.

Apparently it was made for export because the import is roll marked.

I repurposed a sear spring from a Bryco 48. All is working fine now.
