Real nice. I just got a M28 but I've been dropping hints to my father that a Model 15 would be a nice gift. I've seen several just recently between $230 - 300 depending on condition. I imagine they're police trade ins. I envy you for owning a K38.

Perfessr,

Is that the 586 with the bottom lug shortened? Who did that? It looks good.

Yep, I took a small benchtop grinder and slowly ground it to near where I wanted it and then took it to my FIL and used his belt sander. It took me about 6 hours to grind and sand it to shape and another 2 to file and sand it to final polish to match the frame. I need to get it reblued so it matches.
It shoots like a 19 on steroids...

To round out the collection I wish some one would give a nice mod 58 with diamond PC grips and a K22 Masterpiece and a nice model 1950 .45 target model in 45 colt light barrel (pre-model 26)

I would not mind finding a 3" 36 with adj sights like my 60-4 and if S&W had made a 940 in blue I would rather have that.
