Range Report
Checkman

Well I got out to the range with my Model 28-2 (six inch barrel) today and I had a ball. I put a couple dozen Winchester 158 grain JSP magnums through it as well as fifty +P 158 grain semi-wadcutters and fifty 158 grain lead round nose rounds. I had no trouble. The magnums felt like I was firing +P's through an airweight snubbie (well almost). Control of the weapon wasn't an issue (I have small hands), the action was very smooth and it was accurate. I rapid-fired, fired two handed, one handed, single action, and so on. I like this revolver. Wow! :D

I'm glad—but not at all surprised—to hear it.

Yep - the 28's a tough act to beat.

My first revolver, 30 yrs. ago, was a 6" Model 27-2. Very accurate, and very rugged and durable. Should last several lifetimes. I still have mine.
