I understand that both of the TTN and the JW-2000 are made in China.......What is the difference other than price. I can only see these in the gun auction sites. Is one more durable or finer finish and how would they compare to Stoeger or Baikal? Thanks for the information.

Stoeger has over-unders that are absolute junk, they shake themselves loose after a few thousand rounds. never heard anything bad about the norinco pump guns atleast, couldn't say about their coach guns.

The cowboy action guys consider the TTN to be the best of the coach guns sold today. It's heavier than most of the other coach guns so it has less recoil which is a real issue with the coach guns.

Im thinking of getting the TTN for home defense. I have not seen any negative reviews of their 1878 coach gun, everyone seems to love them.

I've never heard of the TTN; that being said, I have the JW-2000 which is a nice, solid gun. The .12 Gauge is very heavy.

I only know about the TTN 1878 Hammer SG ----- the one I have is built like a tank , the hammers are VERY close together - makeing it easy to palm/thumb back both hammers at the same time --- never have had a single problem with it.

The Chinese Ah Jing hammer SGs are not even close --- the "hammers" are for show only and DO NOT ignite the shells --- and they are very cheap feeling -- I sold my Ah Jing the day I bought my TTN.
