Pardner pump weight?

Anyone know how much these guns weight? Ive heard people say they are pretty hefty and I like a heavy gun.

H&R's site lists them at 7.5 pounds, but I take manufacturer listed weights with a grain of salt since ive found them to be frequently inaccurate.

That weight sounds right. I like a heavy gun also, especially when shooting 3" waterfowl loads.

I have a Pardner Protector it may weigh around 7 pounds but it is a "heavy" 7 pounds. Like all that metal.

Ok thanks guys.

Does anyone know if the 12 and 20 gauge are built on the same receiver? Or is the 20 gauge version scaled down?
