Went to the Yuma AZ gunshow this morning, only stayed about an hour, nothing there I really wanted.

Tons and tons of AR and AK variants, all configurations imagineable, more coming in the door. Sure is different from this time last year when you couldn't find a one.

Tons of knifes, one guy had probably 10 tables or so, several others with cases and cases of knifes.

Tons of handguns, all makes, models and calibers, anything you might want.

A few sporter rifles. A few target rifles, a very nice Anschutz 54 with all the trimmings, several nice Model 52's. Couple of great old Schuetzens. Quite a few lever guns with VERY HIGH price tags. Only a little ammo, couple of jerks trying to double their money on a few boxes of Walmart stuff. No primers at all, only a few cans of powder.

Only cost me the $5.00 entry fee.

Were handgun prices competitive or off the wall. Like new Glocks, If you remember?

I dont pay much attention to the handgun scene anymore, there are now so many makes & models, who can keep track? I can tell you there were so many in there I cant see how there would not be competitive pricing, if you dont like one guy's prices, just go on to the next guy.

I've passed up the last two gun shows here in Tallahassee. Like you said tons of AK and AR variants and junk togo along with them. Bunch of cheap Chinese scopes, knives and plastic handguns. A few reloading supplies by high prices and pretty hard to see how a few cans of powder, a few bullets and no primers will put together anything. We get thru Yuma a couple of times each year. Golden Corral is about the best place for the money to grab a bite. Haven't tried the new Cheretins (SP?). Make a few trips across the border at Algadones to replenish the liquor supply. Our big ol' dogs think Waggin West is their second home. Take care.

'Bout the same can be said for the Great Southern Gun & Knife Show outside of New Orleans. Oddly, no beef jerky to be found anywhere (nor alligator jerky - that's just disappointing).

$8 cover, free parking. I walked around for a couple of hours & bought some ammo so I wouldn't leave empty handed.
