Is that a .45 in your pocket?

Anyone drop their Para Carry in their pocket? Any other .45ACP gun?
I'm ready to pony up for a Kahr PM9 (great gun) but I'm making one last attempt to ensure I'm not forgetting a .45 that's pocketable. I don't have any 9mms now, and I kind of like keeping the caliber list short. Plus, if the PM9 is my only 9mm, I'll need a full-size 9mm to run the ammo through too, and then a P7...
(Morgan, I have a feeling I'll be speaking with Tom soon...)

Take a look at the Glock 36. There are several folks that shoot the micro-45 from Glock more accurately than any other .45. 6 shots, plus one as I recall and about as small and light as it gets.

actually the AMT back-up in 45ACP is a very small 45 and a handful when you shoot it...........this one you can put in a shirt pocket, little heavy but possible..............

Many years ago I had a friend who carried a Star PD (aluminum frame/sub-compact .45 auto) in a side pocket holster. He had the right side pocket modified on several pairs of pants so that the pocket was slightly larger and deeper. Yes, it did work. He would alternate between this and an IWB holster, and carried the pocket rig more frequently during hot weather.

Like Jem, AMT .45 Backup, which sits gathering dust ever since I picked up my Kahr MK-9 (which has sights, slide stop, traditional mag release).

I had an AMT 45 backup. It had metal galling problems between the slide and frame. It was as if the slide was very soft. Even with generous lubrication, the slide would not return to battery....even unloaded. My current choice for a pocket gun is a Kahr MK40. It is easy to conceal and has decent power.

Hmm... The Glock is a pocket gun like my frying pan is a pocket gun. :)
