Sounds like the CZ RAMI is finally getting close.
Here's the latest thread on the cz-forum.

Of those interested; what caliber do you plan on getting?
9mm = 10+1
40sw = 8+1
Total weight of loaded gun = 810 grams (1.786 lbs)
Allow frame w/ steel slide and DA/SA action.

9mm or 40? Don't know. I'd be happy with either.
Seriously.

I didn't realize they would have a 9mm version. I would definately want one of those.
This thing sounds like just the medicine for those of us with Kahr sticker shock.

I'm very interested in seeing the Rami. Hope it is as good as it looks. I noticed in the photos that the second gun has the old rear sight while the first gun had what looked like a variation on the Novak sight. That would be the one I would opt for. I have a PCR CZ and would like to add the Rami
to the stable. Thanks for the heads up.

Keep your fingers crossed. The ATF is playing with one, hope they do
approve the RAMI for importation. One guy who has handled the RAMI
in CZ Rep. Said that it felt like a heavy Glock 26.

....and I'll make a nice set of grips of his/her own choice of wood to the first one who sends me the original grips to keep.
:D

Is it supposed to be pocketable? Can you carry it C&L like a 75B?

Do they use a different mag than the CZ-75s?
schild

The standard mags will be much shorter than 75 mags, but full capacity 75 mags will fit.

Yes, it will be pocketable and yes you can carry it Cond 1...at the same time is strictly up to you.
It will take the standard Hi Caps mags and would make a stellar Backup mags......................
You WILL BE SEEING THESE in Feg. 2004.....MSRP is 570$ which is right in line with the PCR/PO1............
Shoot well...........

I was actually hoping it would be a different mag - something slimmer. Wanted the grip to be slimmer than a double-stack.

Great!! I look forward to them already.
I don't think we'll be getting any of them here. CZ75s and (maybe)a few CZ97Bs are just about what we get of CZ here. They haven't even heard of CZ40s, so I strongly doupt that the RAMI will ever show up here.

Hakan.

If the consensus is that a Glock 26, 26 oz. loaded, isn't pocketable,
why is a gun that supposedly will weigh 28.5 oz. loaded, pocketable?

I don't think we'll be getting any of them here...They haven't even heard of CZ40s, so I strongly doupt that the RAMI will ever show up here. I wouldn't doubt that both the CZ-40B and the RAMI were designed for the U.S. market. No other countries seem to have taken to the .40S&W caliber like we have. On the other hand, the RAMI comes in 9mm also, but a lot of European countries seem to frown on tiny concealable pistols these days.
On a side note: Just curious, do you guys have any concealed carry options there Hakan?

And just for noting. The frames are steel....................

Hakan, I've long been an admirer of your work, but have yet to actually put the money on some. If I by chance get a RAMI, I'll order a set from you ASAP.
I have a design I'd want... can you do this? (To match a tat)

Thanks GH..
I saved the image already and definetely give it a try later...but, I think it will have to cover the whole grip length for it to be visible on those tiny RAMI panels...don't you think so??

Hakan.

I would be interested in one only if it came with a D version with a decocker.
CZ, please read my post and pay attention. Also, trim that thing down and you will have a heck of a CCW.

Nice SET, Goerge..............:D

Yeah, it would have to span the whole grip. I'm thinking smooth Cocobolo with a deep redish tone and that pattern.
