I'm trying to decide between an Alessi ankle holster and the Galco "Ankle Glove". Anyone out there who uses either of these two holsters?

I have a locate on the Alessi @ 160 + shipping.

The Galco is at Arizona Gun Runners at 72 + another 20 or so for the calf band.

It seems to me the Alessi would ride lower than the Galco, especially if the calf strap is used with the latter. The Galco copy says it does keep the butt of the gun close to the leg to reduce printing.

This would be used with a business suit.

thanks.............

I can't speak for the Alessi but I do have a Galco Ankle Glove for my 442. Very comfortable and conceals well. I highly recommend it.

i compared the two a while back...i had co-workers who had them, they both swore each was the "best"

when you can see and handle them at the same time, there isn't much doubt which is the best and why it cost more. there is a reason the Galco comes with a safety strap, it doesn't have the fitting and workmanship of th Alessi to retain the gun without one

I had an Alessi for the model 60, very well made but it appeared designed to ride on a boot top, it could not be made to stay above the ankle, slipping down to the shoe I was wearing. I would not purchase another for use with business attire.
