Anyone know of a source for the Rem 870 Police wood stocks?? Remington does not list them on their site. Will the 870 Police wood stocks fit any 870?

Numrich has been offering in their closeout section "field grade stocks" for 870s. These are the same as police stocks. The link is

I ordered one and it was in excellent looking shape, but it had been refinished and it seemed like quite a bit of wood was sanded away where the stock meets the receiver, so there was a little "step" there, not a perfect wood to metal fit but acceptable. Other than that it was in great shape. I also bid on a NIB police stock on ebay, it was from GT Distributors, for 25 bucks plus shipping. Their link is http://www.gtdist.com

Their number is 1-800-241-8950, you can call them and see if they have any left, I haven't seen them auctioning off any.
