I spent the afternoon videoing me and a friend target practiceing for a video production class. The assignment was to take a song and put images that are related to the song put them to the rythem of the music. So as I was trying to think of what I was going to do the song by Filter called Hey man nice shoot was playing on the radio. Well you know what that lead into, a real good excuse to do some target practice, and get a project done at the same time:D. Ever time I hear that song it makes me whant to go target practice. We got some real good shots of some shots, if you know what I mean. Anyway, it was the most fun I ever had doing home work. I said all of that to ask this, is there any song, book, movie, ect... that makes you want to punch paper?

errr. . .you are asking what makes me want to go shooting? Well, the number one answer is "new gun." Second is "new part, accessory, modification added to gun." Third is phone call asking me if I want to go shooting. ;)

I make it a hard and fast rule to only shoot on days they end in Y when the sun rises in the east.

So far it's worked out fine.

I'm with Beetle on this! A new gun makes you want to get out there and shoot.
Mine is a new Yugo SKS. $99 and boy is it pristine. The barrel is absolutely mirror shiney and all numbers match. Tomorrow is the day of recokning.

Well, now that you put it that way, my answer is "Yes!" But not to punch paper. I want to see if I can hit a telephone wire at 160 meters (or is it 155? $#!*, whatever) with a Mosin Nagant when I watch Enemy at the Gates . And C'mon, admit it, we've all wondered about the damage we could do with a Desert Eagle in the kitchen of a restaurant after La Femme Nikita :evil: . But then I'd have to clean up the mess and I'm kinda lazy. But, maybe I could rig up a suspended wire at the local range and find out just how tough that shot really is with a Mosin Nagant. Hey, that'd be cool because even if it took me 100 rounds and all day long, if I did it, every time I saw the movie, I could say to anyone in the room "Ha! Even I could make that shot!" :rolleyes:

LOL! Yeah, years back when I got my first camcorder I did a real low tech movie thing of clips of range footage and live soundtrack gets boring sometimes so dubbed in "Damage Inc." by Mettallica. I cant hear that song anymore without getting flash pics of shooting at the range in my head.:rolleyes:

Lots of things make me want to go shooting though.
