Anyone here have/know anything about these?
I just got one from Big 5 the other day for $99. I seen them last year for almost half that, but was broke at the time, and was concerned about ammo costs/availability.
I've did a little research on them, but still have some questions.
Is there anyway to find out when it was made?
I'm probably going to order ammo from grafs, but is it possible to shoot this without one of those clips?
Are these guns generally safe to shoot? This is my first straight pull bolt action, and I'm kinda leery about the strength of the action, and whether or not the bolt is going to come flying back in my face.
With a decent bore, what kind of accuracy are these guns capable of?
In terms of reliability, performance, and historical significance, how does the steyr 95 compare to other guns of the same time period?
How many were made?
And finally, do you think these guns will go up in value, or will they always be more of an oddball?
thanks
