I have one, and was wondering if other owners could comment on the longevity of this gun?
Also, I wanted to know, after owning it for a while, is it still as fun to shoot as when you first owned it?

I remember the Deluxe Fieldmaster. A cousin got one after they came out in the late '60s. Good solid rifle that seemed to be accurate the times I shot it.
If it doesn't get burned up in a house fire or stolen it ought to last nearly forever like any good .22. If you like it now there's no reason you should tire of it. Just keep it if you like it and buy something else to go with it later on if you feel like it. Thirty-nine years later I still have my Marlin Mountie.
