Your most effective political tool ....

My website has a page that will convince anyone about the seriousness nature of the Socialist agenda. It has a video with Lou Dobbs explaining the deceitful plans of Obama. There's another video that shows an American standing up to Chuck Schumer (this will make you feel proud), and it will educate anyone that is not already 100% convinced.

Best of all, this webpage has a place to help find YOUR elected officials by just entering your zipcode. From there you're just a few mouse clicks away from emailing them. Check it out, and let's spread the word.

Would it explode your brain if I told you I'm a Socialist and in full support of Americans being able to carry guns either open or concealed?

On a more serious note though, I do notice this a lot.

Most people have no understanding of the distinction between the political system of dictatorships versus Republic or Democracies and the economical systems of Communism, Capitalism and well, Socialism.

In all honesty I think the pro gun lobby is losing an awful lot of people at every turn the more they spout this kind of stuff. the desire to won a gun for self defense, plinking, hunting or for any other purpose isn't limited to any specific political spectrum and frankly I think we could get a lot more support if we stopped riving people away at every turn with our ill informed McCarthyish opinions.

Nushif .........

Well ...... I'd say that someone would have an exploded brain if they think that Obama and Biden's Socialist agenda is content with allowing private ownership of guns. Just look at their previous record!

I'm a registered Republican only so that I can vote in the Republican primary elections. (They might have a serious candidate one day.) However, it may surprise you to know that I'm really a conservative Independent, and I believe that after this healthcare mess is forced upon us - we'll soon be dealing with waves of gun control. Watch the videos on my website.

It helps to know who your elected representatives are, and sometimes it's important to speak up and preserve our way of life. The next time anyone votes for "change" they should ask "exactly what is the change?" Our great country was built into a democratic republic with a capitolist economy. It was built at a very high cost, and it's worth preserving. Get involved and vote.

hso ......

Glad to hear it! We need all the pathways to our elected officials we can get. My message is to not become complacent. Be alert and preserve what others have fought and died for. "Change" isn't necessarilly a bad thing, but for god's sake be aware what the change is going to be - before jumping on board. If you like socialism . . . . visit France.

Not exactly a plan, more of a warning.

McCarthy wasn't anti-socialist. He was anti-communist (political party...not economic system.) It seems that perhaps you're the one who is confused. The real point you've missed though is that most gun people are sticklers for the Bill of rights and the US Constitution as a whole. You can be a socialist AND an American, but the two are always in conflict if you think the Constitution is important.

I'm not sure what you mean?? I re-read the forum rules, and my comments have included no threats or warnings of any kind. Just telling shooters to stay alert.

Shooters need to understand how to see who their local elected officials are, and how to easily contact them about anti-gun legislation.

Shooting and hunting will become fond memories if more shooters become complacent and fail to communicate about the legislative process.

Twice in my lifetime I have defended my family and my home from armed home invaders. My Second Amendment rights are the most important thing to me. I could care less that the pro-gunner is a fire breathing Protestant preacher or a female Wiccan who has had two abortions. The proven pro-gunner will get my vote very time.

"Conservative" gunowners refused to go after John McCain when he teamed up with Joe Lieberman to introduce his "gunshow loophole" bill? They refused to criticize the 10 Republicans senators who voted to extend the AWB, therefore ensuring it's passage-52-47?

Actions speak much louder than words: Prior to election time study the history of the candidates. Previous actions on Second Amendment issues speak much louder than vague promises to "support your Second Amendment rights."

John McCain is no more of a conservative than Obama. What a lame choice that was! You're right, actions speak much louder than words. It sure helps to investigate the history of each candidate. That usually shows you everything you need to know. Like you .... I only vote pro-gun.

That is the only way to go. We have been bitten too many times to do otherwise.
