Laugh all you want but that is exactly what happened in Oklahoma in 2007.

The legislature passed a law prohibiting employers from banning firearms from employee vehicles.

When various big corporations took the issue to court the 1st judge in the process ruled that the law violated OSHA regulations (safety regs) and tossed it out.

Lucky for us the 10th circuit told the judge and the corporations to blow it out their asses and that they were wrong in late 2009.

Took my employer about a week to update our policy manual. Since we operate in multiple states its kind'a cool to see a big THIS POLICY DOES NOT APPLY TO OUR OK LOCATIONS. :)
