The AR100 is a Korean made rifle imported before 1989. It is a semi-auto only variant of the Korean K2 service rifle. It was also imported marked as a "K2" and later a "Max 2".
They are nice rifles and feature a folding stock. I've found mine to be accurate and reliable and fun to shoot.
They do use AR-15 mags. The rest of the parts do not interchange however. (Except I've heard that AR hammer/trigger sear will work if all three are switched out)

Yes to the AR mags. I only have a Korean Daewoo DR-200 which I replaced the butt hole stock with a ACE folder. I do not AR-100 which pre-dates the DR-2000 import. They have an adjustable gas port, a AK/AR rifle. Uses a few of the AR lower internal parts. Accurate and a little heavy. No after market rails for it. A dated design. No longer imported.
I like mine.

This is a great rifle. Similar to the Galil in design philosophy, it borrows from both AK and AR platforms. This is a rifle designed to fight a Civil War against fanatical North Koreans, it will handle punishment.
Both rugged and very accurate, I have hit 3' tall poppers at 200-300 yards while moving using my Holoscope sight system. It is also just plain fun to shoot.
B-Square used to make parts for it, but here is a new company that manufactures and sells parts for both version of Daewoo rifles:
Here's a picture of mine. If you can find one, get it.
