It is a 2" piece of cooper tubing fitted with a brass blade. After possitioning the blass blade in the cooper tube you fill the tube with lead. The resulting tool acts as a lead filled soft hammer to drive the pin out and the blade is sized to be used as a pusher to push the pin all the way out.

Good one Pancho. I made a similar tool from hardwood. Drilled it and filled with lead, then plugged the hole. Sort of like a short starter but for the wedge.

I think I like your idea better, more weight. The things us Colt shooters deal with:rolleyes:
