Can somebody smarter than me (guess that's all of you guys out there) look up the moider stats for CA? Our ban was adopted in '89 and I suspect that our moider rate increased since then.

Plastic rifles with plastic magazines just don't seem like a hard use item to me. Just my opinion ;)

There is one company (can't remember the name offhand) that is making a US version of the HK SP89. You can buy one of these now, register it as an AOW for $5, put a vertical foregrip on it and have a semi- HK MP5K. If you can find a registered sear, you can make it a full auto MP5K with folding stock. If you buy an HK94, you can take the trigger group off your MP5K and snap in on the 94 and have a standard MP5.
