If one can feel emotion for an inanimate object, I love this pistol. The looks, the ergonomics, the easily obtainable "extended capacity" magazines. The only potential drawback (which could be huge but I have a feeling it won't) is that I haven't gotten an opportunity to shoot it yet!!

Any P-01 owners out there who have gotten to shoot there pistol extensively yet? Any comments or observations?

Goober, great choice in a pistol, you'll love it. I have about 200 rds thru mine without any hiccups, One thing I can tell you of all my pistols, My Sig 228 and my P-01 are number 1a and 1b cause I cannot choose a favorite.

I have about 2.500 rounds through the P01, and 6 or 7,000 through the 75 BD in 9mm, over 10,000 through the kadet Kit on the 75BD mainly, but it works on the P01 as well.

Range work the all steel 75 is more comfortable. Carry the P01 is better.

Hey "Its the only NATO spec gun in the world"...right! :scrutiny:....Sorry, everyone knows I love my CZech guns. But there marketing dept. is .....er, .....well,......a marketing dept. :D

Personally, I love the guns. I think the biggest dissapointment for a sorted few, is the trigger. Most are not what people "hear they should be like".
But if you givem around 1000 rnds..they will clean up licely.....most will.

Ive got over 12-15K rnds through my PCR's...the daddy to the PO1 and they just keep on keeping on.

Being they are pretty much the same gun minus the rail/other details and I sold my STI and other guns...I still carry my PCR...that pretty much sums up my opinion....its that good.
