I was out in my shed, loading some 124gr FMJ's into 9mm's, and thought that it might be fun to see what others are loading today. I loaded 600 9mm's, and switched to the same bullet in the .38 Super. Loaded 200 Supers. What did y'all get done today? We might have to do a "shooting report" along with this.:)

Didn't do any loading today, so how about a rolling report from the week's activities? Started earlier this week making .223 match reloads; 139 on the first night (Monday IIRC), backed by 133 on the second night. These are loaded with Varget, CCI-BR4 primers and 77gr Nosler HPBTs seated to 2.255" OAL (fits in an AR-15 magazine for Service rifle shooting). Then came the 260 rounds of 115gr 9mm FMJ using Power Pistol and CCI-500 primers.

Oh, and today I shot up 44 rounds of .223 match ammo, but it was an older lot I loaded with CCI-400 small rifle primers.

No loads for me today. I dismantled my press yesterday and need to get on the lathe and make some parts before it goes back together.

Haven't loaded in a few weeks; out of bullets, and not going to shoot my remaining reloads until I've replaced my stock. Waiting on my final CC payoff paycheck before I call up Missouri to try out some of their stuff...

...but in the spirit of the thread, i bought a new roller handle for my press. Decapped a bunch of 9mm today, just so I could try it out. ;)

Loaded some 338 Lapua for the new stick (maybe 20 rounds)...just some basic fireforming/barrel break in loads. Also did some more research on 95 grain 6mm bullets for the 243 AI.

Tried out a bunch of 54R loads for the new M39 Finn. Standouts so far were the D166 loads using N140 (45) and IMR 4064 (42). But more tweaking is needed.

Loaded some 124 gr. Hornadys in 357 SIG with some Win 540(HS6), been using AA#9.

I wanted to try the HS6 as I have a jug of it left over from 20 ga shotshell reloading.

Going to unload some of today over the chronograph to see how they measure up.

Yesterday I loaded 400ea 230 grain 45ACP bullets with 5.3 grains of HP-38, about to do the same again. I need to load all I have up since the loading room is going bye-bye this summer.

I like the responses. Seems we all have different progressions for our reloading. Some do bulk for pistol rounds; some prep cases for rifle or precision reloads. Some have stepped away from the bench to burn em up. Keep it up. Makes the whole reloading thing more personal. I was back at it again today (Sunday), and loaded 400 .38 Supers. Only split 4 cases, and only crunched one case and 2 primers (sideways).

Loaded 150 rounds of .45 auto yesterday. I used 5.0 grains IMR 700-x with a 200 grain Missouri LSWC. I shot them all today. Very satisfied with this combo. I used my Chip Mccormick mags I just got from midway and I didn't have ONE malfunction. Unbelievable what a difference that made.
I've been single staging so far and really want to step up to a progressive.

I loaded 50 rounds of 5.56 today: 62 gr FMJ over 24.5 gr BL-C(2). Loaded 50 of the same Friday. Loaded 125 rounds of .40S&W earlier in the week: 155 gr Hornady XTP over 5 gr HP-38.

Well, yesterday I put together 50 rounds of .500 S&W with 300 grain Hornady bullets and varying charges of Lil Gun (10 each of 5 charge weights).
Lighter charge weights were using once-fired after reaming the primer pockets to fit WLR primers, heavy weights were in new Starline brass.

I also put together about 30 rounds of .45 ACP using primed cases from rounds that I had pulled down (shaved plating on bullets, not enough case mouth flare) and used 5.5 grains of 231 under a 200 grain Berry's round nose.

Last week I loaded a bunch of different .38 special wadcutter rounds. 24 rounds each of a couple different charge weights of Bullseye, Red Dot and Trail Boss and with Speer lead 148gr. HBWC and Berry's plated 148gr. HBWC.
Took 'em all to the range on Friday and with my 6" Model 14 PPC gun, after some careful testing and comparisons, I arrived at the following conclusion:
They all group better from even a shaky rest than I'm capable of shooting with an unsupported gun, so until I get a lot better (and get some prescription shooting glasses) it doesn't make much difference which load I shoot.

No reloading yesterday, but I sold all of my .44 Magnum reloading supplies and ammo to my shooting buddy for his S&W M329 (sold him a quantity of jacketed bullets, H-110 and W296 powder, CCI 350 primers, and commercial ammo, and gave him some reloaded shotshells). Interestingly, every single thing I sold to him was "out of stock" at MidwayUSA... Plus, the 50 shotshells are worth $73.95 at current prices ($14.79 for ten .44 Magnum shotshells?!)!

Loaded 50 rounds of .45 ACP with 4.9 of Bullseye and 50 rounds of 5.0 grains of bullseye. Off to the range in the next couple days to test em out. According to my Lee book the never exceed is 5.0 grains and the powder fills quite a bit of the case.

Tonight, I had planned on loading a batch of .45 acp. When I pulled out my measure, I saw that it was still set for my standard 38 spl load. So, I filled it up with Unique, weighed a few charges to verify, and loaded up 100 rounds with 4.3 grains under a 158 LSWC.

Hey Mags, There may not be a good reason for someone to lose their loading room. But this is definitely an acceptable reason. Congratulations on the youngin' they are a blessing.

Boy howdy, I'm glad we are too old for 'em anymore!
But grandbabies, now they are even better! :D

Bought some hornady 250gr XTP's, sized to .452.

Couldn't find load data, but Alliant has 260gr JSP with 4.1gr of Bullseye for a starting load.

Loaded a few in increments of 0.1grs from 4.0gr to 4.4grs. Goin to range later to check'em out.

Cast 100 9mm boolits, just seeing how hot the garage will get, in July in AZ. It got slightly warm. Still got 100 new slugs for a little time spent, and about $.25 in electricity.

I have been prepping over 1,000 pieces of LC 5.56 brass for what seems like an eternity. Have them all sized and swaged. Might have 100 trimmed/chamfer/deburred/primer pocket prepped. I will then be loading them with Hornady 75gr hpbt over rl17 and varget.

I did load some .40 S&W to break up the swaging.
185gr Hornady XTP 6.6 power pistol, win sp, win brass averages 20 fps less than factory Hornady. Shoots great out of a P99.

A few days ago, I reloaded 299 rounds of .45ACP. 299 because I had to scrap one primer and didn't want to open another pack to make it an even 300. Anyways, I have a rule that I try to reload at least 1.5-2 times as much as I shoot.

No reloading today. I am setting up a second bench and I mounted a Lyman 55 on it, plus an old CH 111 press I recently acquired, and finished up by mounting a Lachmiller primer press beside it.

Tomorrow I will be dismantling a Lyman All-American press I got the same time as the CH for cleaning and painting.

Yesterday I loaded 24 Rd's of .45 colt with the Missouri 250gr RNFP. These are test loads using W-231 powder. To night I'll load another 24 or 30 rounds with American Select power. Also test loads. There one more powder I'm curious about, that is Titegroup. Does anyone have some experience with this powder? I'm not interested in hot velocities, factory levels will do fine. What I am interested in is accuracy and how clean it burns.
