I feel it wise to keep some, not necessarilly hoard but to keep some ammo for whatever firearms you may have, on hand and available. And some folks insist that when buying ammo to buy American because only US made ammo is quality.
I don't necessarilly agree with that but am wondering if anyone has had any experience with the NOBEL brand of 12 gauge ammo?
I'm thinking of buying 100 rounds or so of #4 shot for HD but thought it wise to check with those that know far more of this than I do.

So opinions please on the NOBEL line of 12 gauge ammo.

Sincerest thanks!!

It is the longest, rattleingest, cardboard topped cartridge I've ever seen. The specs are full strength.

PS: I presume u mean the commendable-for-HD #4 Buckshot (very different from #4 shot) and the cartridge at left is Nobel Sport Law Enforcement #4 Buck. I have NOT shot it but bought a sleeve cheaply to fill a small gap for HD for a small time -- I chose not to buy more.

1). I wouldn't choose #4 shot for HD.
2). I wouldn't rely on any ammo I haven't shot the crap out of first.

Buy some buck shot and hit the range.

Alfred Nobel created some very popular explosives. His name-branded ammunition and components seem to be well-made from my limited experience with them. Their 209 primers are interchangeable with Win 209 at almost half the cost. Their shotshells are well thought of by the folks I shoot with who use them

I would only use birdshot for interior HD, because I don't want buck going through 6 walls and hitting friendlies.
