why do people have to give 'opinions' on forums to things they know nothing about!?

it's VERY annoying! ppl seem to blab on about thinks they obviously no nothing about AND YET they deem it nessesary to give advice to ppl which is utter BS!!!! i'd rather have one real good reply than 30 BS replys. They will say how great a rifle is and they only know this because the read an artical on it or they may/may not of fired it once!
Its NOT helpful, its just ppl trying to make themselfs out to be the know alll and end all of shooting! stroaking their egos! STOP IT!

ppl reply to posts sometimes mention other replys and say basicly how the other persons advice was completly wroung and you should follow theirs, then of course the same thing happens with the next person 2 repy etc etc etc
ppl seem to always want to put other peoples advice down to make them selfs look great! fine, if its actually wroung advice and could damage equipment/ safty/ or its just know not to be good then i can live with that BUT an opinion is an opinion so dont knock someone elses, let there be many differing opinions and let the readers decide what opinion to go for!

I have a great deal of experience with this, sasnofear!

As a PhD in B.S., I have spent many years honing my craft by using grandiose verbiage and cyclical logic to befuddle, bemuse, and BS the common man.

Call it an inferiority complex on my part; I seem at times to have a penchant for pontification.

Though it's been said that I'm a hyperbole hack, I find that supposition scurrilous and snide.

In truth, I am the World's Foremost Authority.

Please let me know if you need further expert advice on any subject. :scrutiny:

What cracks me up is when someone asks "whats the best gun for this or that?" and people go on to list the guns THEY own rather than answer the question.

But it is all rather entertaining...:D

Hmmm, make sure you run all posts by the ReichsZensor from now on. However, free speech doesn't have to make sense or mean that we all agree. Just because someone has a different opinion, does not mean they are "wrong" or know nothing.

Besides, they call it the Errornet for a reason.:D

when utilizing a public forum (especially where there are as many members as this one has) you have to expect a broad cross-section of responses, and then sift through the responses looking for what you wanted to see... you have to remember that you are, after all, asking for opinions, and everybody has some...

I try to make my postings based on own experience, and from seeing personally what others around me experience.
When some start talking about something other than the original topic was, I tend to pick up a lot of interesting things, and they make me think.
If you don't like a post, eighter ignore it, or move on in life...
(You can also place members of THR on your ignore list, so you won't see their posts).

This is the third time I've read this thread. Idon't know much, but I know three things for sure.

1. It is absolutely firearms related. To that end, I would like to mention the Thunder 5. Why? I don't know. Nobody else mentioned it.

2. It is intellectual in nature. It must be because I'm unedumacated, and that is why I'm having so much trouble understanding what this thread is about.

3. I need to seek medical assistance for my bladder control problem.
