I am wondering how it goes renewing a ccw permit in a county other than the county one originally obtained the permit. The neighboring county that I am moving to is a lot tighter handing out permits (very few). Can anyone tell me their experience regarding this? I already have my permit, I'm just concerned that I will run into a bunch of hassle when I try to renew it. :confused:Thanks.

Depends on what state you are in.

You should notify the office that issued your CCW permit that you are moving. This is usually required within 30 days of moving. Then when it comes time renew, you go through the same county office. This is how it 'usually' works, your state laws may vary.
