Hey Guys,

What COAL are you using with Missouri Bullet's 95 grain LRN (http://www.missouribullet.com/details.php?prodId=107&category=5&secondary=27&keywords=)? Do you leave any of that last driving band sticking out of the case?

I've been leaving about .015" of it out but it looks better, to me anyway, seated flush. They will hand cycle, dummy load, fine either way but they are only around ~.945" long loaded like that. That ain't much but that 380 is a small package to begin with.

How are ya'll doing it?
TIA

I'm loading with an OAL of .975" No problems out of my Sig P238, Colt Mustang and Colt Government model. No problems so far, fired about 150 rounds. Your .945" seems a bit short, I wouldn't recommend anything near max charge with that short OAL.

Currently using Bullseye, but contemplating trying Unique (which I have) or 231 (which I don't).

I forget the OAL off the top of my head, but to answer the question - yes, I leave a bit of shoulder sticking out of the case mouth. It almost has a round-nose semi-wadcutter look.

Or, a very short man with a boulder hat :D

That's it. That's what they look like. :p I still think they would look better seated a little deeper.

ssyoumans, I ain't put any powder in any that short. I just made a couple of dummy loads to see if they would hand cycle in my mousegun. I am loading to .965/.970 for real loads.
