These boys turned 80 this week. They don't look to bad for having put in that time of time on the earth. The bottom one is the lowest serial number 38/44 HD known.
I have 3 more that will turn 80 next week so I need to get some pictures up of them.
The old 38/44 Heavy Duties are still one of the nicest guns I own.

19-3Ben April 19, 2010, 07:17 AM If I look that good when I'm that age, I'll be thrilled!
StrawHat April 19, 2010, 07:34 AM Wish I still had mine. The 38/44 certainly was a great revolver and capable of handling loads in the 357 range. Accurate and easy on recoil. Nice looking octagenarians!
Sport45 April 19, 2010, 09:18 AM I'll bet you could get rails installed for red-dot scopes and maybe a flashlight mount to the front of the trigger guard. Then you'd have something. ;)
Enough of the blasphemy. That's a great looking pair.
ArchAngelCD April 20, 2010, 03:38 AM Nice revolvers, thanks for sharing them... Oh, and happy 80th birthday. lol
