These boys turned 80 this week. They don't look to bad for having put in that time of time on the earth. The bottom one is the lowest serial number 38/44 HD known.

I have 3 more that will turn 80 next week so I need to get some pictures up of them.

The old 38/44 Heavy Duties are still one of the nicest guns I own.

There's just something about the curves of a Smith & Wesson.....

If I look that good when I'm that age, I'll be thrilled!

Wish I still had mine. The 38/44 certainly was a great revolver and capable of handling loads in the 357 range. Accurate and easy on recoil. Nice looking octagenarians!

I'll bet you could get rails installed for red-dot scopes and maybe a flashlight mount to the front of the trigger guard. Then you'd have something. ;)

Enough of the blasphemy. That's a great looking pair.

Hello friends and neighbors // Happy 80th and thanks for the eye candy.
The front sight on the bottom 38/44 is too sweet for words.
