To quote OLDMAN from the Inexpensive thread...

"vsse,

As general advice, why don't you just go to firearms division under State of California - Attorney General and read what you can about what constitutes an assault weapon. (or even call ATF - FROM a pay phone) Anything on the banned list or meets the assault weapon description means you can't have it. Which means you can't buy it, give it away, transfer it to another person or have one imported into the state of Ca. Even if you bought it ouside of Ca. and then brought it here, you run the off-hand chance of having someone take note of it and run the serial number through the data base. Once caught, it's a federal felony and you would lose possession af all your firearms. Not worth the risk. That is - IF you were thinking about something along the designs of an assault weapon type. BTW, this has happened to a quite a few individuals since I used to run DROS and had a few talks with ATF at one time."

Probably will save you lots of futile looking around.

nothing wrong with the Kel-Tec , if I buy a 9MM carbine, this would be the one...............the storm is way too expensive.........

I have a 9mm that takes S&W 5906 mags and would heartily recommend the same.A lot of people make the mistake of getting one that uses Glock mags and theyre stuck with 10 rounders unless they want to spend $100.00 on normal capacity mags.Mine has been flawless since round one and is unbeatable for the price and its coolness factor!

Not legal in California.

I don't know about you, but I always consider something not being legal in California as a plus.

I have one...got it for 289$ on sale here in LI,NY and i love it...

cheap/fun/light...some people bash it but i like it, i can take it apart in 10 seconds clean and shes great, no malfunctions yet im about 700 rounds in...

and i can shoot it at the indoor ranges because its 9mm so thats a plus on rainy days....
