Some of you might have one of these. They were made around 1991. I got
this one in 1992 I think. They came in 22 cal-50 cal. I have the 32 barrel &
a 45 barrel. The barrels used were Green Mt. and DeHass. They came in
different length barrels. The company was sold about 5 years ago and they
are now being made in Jefferson City Mo. They have the fastest lock time on
a muzzleloader I have ever seen. They also shoot the fastest. This one was
chronographed at 1200 fps with a round ball and only 17 grs Black Powder.
They also came in Flintlock. This one has won 5 National Championships.
Going for number 6 in June. They used to cost 350.00 The last price I
hears was 700.00 Any Ruger Mark 2 grips will fit. Only one screw holds the
barrel on, so changing barrels is quick and a snap. No this one is not for sale.

Pretty cool! I've never even heard of them. What makes them chrono fast compared to another muzzeloader design? different rifling or something?

Just guessing that it could be due to a tight barrel/tight load along with a well designed breech plug and hot ignition.
And if kwi43 is using teflon patches then that could be another factor too.
