Anyone have one? I like the grippy DeSantis but I want a holster that blocks the trigger guard and is made for my gun. The FIST looks pretty good. I emailed them today to see if they offer a panel to avoid printing.

Shmackey...I just ordered a Fist K-5 for my J-frame. I should have it anyday now and I'll let you know.

I appreciate it.

Anyone have an opinion about the importance of a "no print" panel in a pocket holster?

The FIST K5 is a front pocket set-up that doesn't come with a standard panel. The overall design really minimizes printing. I field tested the initial prototype for several months with my Kel-Tec P-32. I still carry the proto almost daily in a wide variety of pants including shorts, jeans, dress pants, and cargo type shorts.

Please let me know if you have any other questions regarding the K5 as I"ll be glad to try to help.

I have a Fist pocket holster for my MK9 and love it, also, service at GunnersAlley is very good, wouldn't mind ordering from him again.

Well, I just received my Fist K-5 for a J-frame. Seems to be well made and I love the "thinness."
But, I'm sending it back because of the excessive retention. IMO, a pocket holster doesn't need 'click-in" retention requiring thumb push off to get your handgun out.

But, I have a half dozen holsters by FIST for a variety of guns. I am one happy customer! Each has been a quality piece of work for what I consider to be very reasonable prices. Incidentally, whenever I have had a question about a holster I picked up the phone and talked to the folks there, mostly Jim Murnak. They are polite and knowledgeable. So ask away and I think that you will have a good experience. Good shooting;)

All but one of my FIST holsters are kydex.

Kydex, but I actually took a hairdrier to it and made it more retention, simply because I am more comfortable with a bit incase of it sliding around when I squat down, but it doesn't interfere at all with the draw.

I don’t really care to have retention decided for me so all of my FIST kydex holsters (Actually 99% of all my holsters have a retention screw… it’s one of the things I look for.) had the “retention screw” added. Only exception are my pocket holsters where a looser fit is preferred anyway…
