i ordered 1250 9MM 115 gr plated berry's bullets from www.cabelas.com they were $8.99 for 250. $8.99 X 5 = $44.95 + $6.95 shipping = $51.90. that's the best price i could find. i could find cheaper bullets, but factoring in shipping and in this case lack of sales tax, this is the best deal i could find. if anyone knows of a better deal, please let me know. i need a deal that doesn't require you to buy several thousand rounds to get a good price. i am just a poor boy so i cannot afford to invest a whole bunch of money at once. i am looking for fair pricing on cast bullets, too. i do need plated or jacketed for my glocks. i am getting tired of casting after 30 years.

yeah, precision bullets are great! i bought about 1500 of them a while back. their shipping is too expensive and they have to charge me sales tax 'cause i am in texas, too. they are around $35.00 a thousand, which is a bit cheaper but the s&h and tax makes them more expensive.

You need to go talk a local shop into stocking these. I get Berry's 115 for 29.99/1000 and 147 for 36.99/1000. Cabelas has yet to offer a good ammo price on anything.

i do not have a local gunshop. the closest one is about 50 miles away. he charges (are you sitting down) $12.00 a hundred for some brand of plated bullets. and that's when he has them. all he had the other day was 200 .40's of some brand of plated bullets for $12.00. online is my best option.

www.powdervalleyinc.com has Montana Gold 115 grain FMJ plated bullets for $40/K.
They are on the south edge of Kansas, so shipping shouldn't be too bad.

Good Luck...

I've been using Berry's 124 gr copper plated with 4.1 gr of Win 231 and had real good luck with my Glock. I know - you shouldn't shoot Glocks with lead bullets - but the copper plated ones cause no leading & no problems and are very accurate. Berry's says not to try to push any of their copper plated over 1200 fps. I've also had good luck with Berry's 158 gr SWCHP in .38 spl, 200 gr SWC in .44 spl, and 100 gr RNHB's in .380. I have had leading when I substituted National Bullet Co. 205 LSWC copper plated in my .44 spl loads without reducing powder charge.
